Capturing a May 2006 concert from London'd Kentish Town Forum, this DVD brings together those titans of noise-rock, avant-metal and general auditory unpleasantness, Melvins and Fantomas, with a combined personnel comprising Mike Patton, King Buzzo, Slayer skinsman Dave Lombardo, Trevor Dunn, Dale Crover and Sir David Scott Stone. A good spread of material is covered over the course of the concert, from not only the Fantomas Melvins Big Band repertoire, but also the individual catalogues of the two bands. The presentation of all this fearsome racket-mongering is handled very nicely, particularly in visual terms, with plenty of middle distance camera shots giving you a decent impression of how the band interact as an expanded unit, all in furious simultaneity. Further to the concert itself, as completely insane as it sounds, DVD commentary comes from Danny DeVito (yes, you read that correctly), Ipecac's Greg Werckman, plus Dale Crover and Buzz Osborne of the Melvins.
